Terms of Service

Last updated September 12, 2026

These terms cover the use of Octavia, a personal portfolio project operated by an individual. By using the product you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it. Questions: hello@guevix.com.

What Octavia is

Octavia is an AI assistant that reads and answers Facebook Messenger messages for a business, with a dashboard to manage it. It is a personal project shown as a portfolio piece, not a commercial product for sale.

Access

Access is granted manually, at our discretion, and can be changed or withdrawn at any time. There is no purchase, no subscription, and no promise that access will continue.

Acceptable use

When using Octavia, you agree not to:

  • break the law, or use it to send spam, scams, or harassing messages;
  • infringe anyone's rights, or upload content you have no right to use;
  • attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its data;
  • misrepresent the assistant as a human where doing so would deceive or harm someone.

If you connect a Facebook Page, you are responsible for having the right to do so and for following Meta's platform policies.

No warranty

Octavia is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. An AI assistant can produce wrong or unexpected replies, so do not rely on it for anything critical without a human check.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of Octavia. It is a free personal project offered without charge.

Intellectual property

Octavia's design, code, and content are our own work. Your business's own data and content remain yours.

Termination

You can stop using Octavia at any time. We may suspend or end access at any time, for any reason, including if these terms are broken. On request we will delete your data (see the Privacy Policy).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Octavia after a change means you accept the updated terms.
